C5 Series CMOS Cameras

The flagship C5 series is the ultimate companion for our wide-field astrographs. Our instruments are specifically designed to project exceptionally large, fully corrected image circles, ensuring that the high resolution and data quality of the 100 MPx (IMX461) and 150 MPx (IMX411) sensors are maintained with pinpoint stars from the center to the extreme edges of the field. To fully exploit these massive sensors, the C5 series provides unique professional features:

• Integrated Mechanical Shutter: Unlike commercial alternatives, the C5A variant features a built-in mechanical shutter, enabling fully automated dark and bias frame acquisition—a fundamental requirement for the remote observatory operations our telescopes are built for.
• Precision Hardware Timing: Available with an optional internal GPS receiver, the C5 ensures microsecond-accurate exposure timing. This synergy makes our systems the premier tool for high-precision scientific research, including occultations, transient detection, and satellite tracking.
• Heavy-Duty Optical Interface: Large-format sensors require perfect orthogonality. Moravian’s specialized tiltable adapters (up to M85 thread) and dedicated XL filter wheels ensure that our expansive image circles are projected onto the sensor with zero tilt or vignetting.

SkyEye and ATR Cameras

A hallmark of the ToupTek range is the extensive availability of both monochrome and One-Shot Color (OSC) sensor variants across their entire lineup. This flexibility allows our clients to choose the exact imaging workflow that suits their needs, whether they require the maximum sensitivity of monochrome or the streamlined productivity of high-end color sensors.

We have specifically optimized our astrographs for use with these high-performance sensors, including the IMX571 (APS-C), the IMX410 (Full Frame), and the ultra-high resolution IMX455 (Full Frame).
